About the Rally 300

Born in the 1970s, the original Trail bikes were easy-to-ride, economical, and especially versatile. Lightweight and simple, they were competent both off-road and on-road, even outperforming some of their contemporaries designed specifically for a single type of use.

The Voge 300 Rally, in contrast to the increased weight and displacement of most current Trail bikes, retains all the essence of the original Trail bikes. Thanks to its unique features, the Voge 300 Rally is the ideal bike for off-road excursions, road trips, and even for participating in demanding off-road competitions.

Equipped with a reliable 292cc liquid-cooled engine with a four-valve DOHC cylinder head, Bosch fuel injection, and nearly 30 HP, it will take you to any destination. Its robust frame, long-travel suspension, upside-down front fork, and rear monoshock with progressive linkage, along with 21" and 18" wheels, a reduced weight, and details like the luggage rack, USB port, and protective windshield, are the perfect combination for enjoying every ride.

It’s a great bike in...

It’s a great bike in every sense but I’m a bit concerned about the amount of press saying that the moveing parts aren’t sufficiently greased and as I’m not very mechanical I do worry about the lack of grease, can you explain how I can get it resolved

Superb bike for what it...

Superb bike for what it is (i.e., small capacity dual sports). Very capable, economical, not as slow as I expected. Impressed with quality. Tyres are great on and off road. Short geared but absolutely fine. 60mph comfortable with me being 16st.

I love this bike! It was amazing value for money, is reliable, nippy, fun and handles beautifully. I have a terminal illness and wanted something to make me smile for a while, this bike never fails.

I find the bike is...

I find the bike is absolutely fabulous and amazing for the money. The ride and suspension over rough roads and potholes is excellent. The quality is excellent and it is very easy to work on. As I am 78 yes old I have lowered the bike. For road use the gearing could be a little higher. Removable inserts for the foot pegs would be good as the serrated edges dig into the footwear.

I love my Voge 300...

I love my Voge 300 Rally as its such good value for money. The standard features like the crash bars, LED light's, fuel gauge and gear indicator make the bike stand out against much more expensive rivals. Cant fault the bike and look forward to years of fun on and off road.

Positives: • Handles really well....

Positives: • Handles really well. • Suspension feels great • Comfortable seat • Great value • Loads of torque • All the info you need on the dash display inc fuel gauge. Nothing you don’t • Once run in it has enough power to accelerate well • Screen seems to keep enough wind off • Seems to handle fine with a weighty luggage, I could hardly tell it was there. Not so good: • Brakes are good; better than most owners think, BUT, needs an aftermarket adjustable reach front lever as the OEM lever has too much reach even for large hands meaning you can’t get enough leverage on it. • front ABS sensor wire on many bikes is clamped wrongly so that when the suspension compresses the wire brushes the tyre. This happened on mine and wore through causing the bike to go into limp mode. Was out of stock at MotoGB, but I managed to find one elsewhere. • Stock gearing a bit low so it’s very buzzy over 60mph. Much better with a smaller rear sprocket • Minor point, kind of, but the starter button contacts stopped working after some rain. After checking lots of other stuff I realised that just pressing and releasing it a few times sorted it and it hasn’t failed again • charging system seems a bit weak. If you install heated grips, even with a high capacity battery, you can’t use them on full power for long before they turn off due to not enough battery power. Always starts fine though. • standard headlight bulbs are quite dim. I fitted LED bulbs which sorted it. Newer ones come with an LED unit. Strange as it seems all the other lights in mine except for the headlight are LED. • seat height will be a bit too high for some riders. I’m 5’11” ish and it’s fine for me when I’m on, but high to get on. Gives great ground clearance though. • Standard hand guards don’t adjust enough to allow a good angle on the brake & clutch levers, so I had to lift my fingers quite high to operate them. I solved it with some Barkbuster guards which allow more adjustment for the levers. All in all though, a great bike to ride and I’m really pleased with it.

I really can’t praise this...

I really can’t praise this bike enough. I purchased it to ride the green lanes of the Peak District and it takes everything I throw at it in its stride. The only thing to report is that the headstock locknut worked loose after around 1000 miles of laning. A quick trail side nip up and we’re back going again. (Can’t complain about that though as it’s having to cope with rough terrain). Fuel economy is great Suspension is adequate ( I am on the heavier side) Brake pads could be better but cheap to upgrade to EBC or similar. I fitted Michelin Trackers for the winter wetter months but now back in stock tyres for the summer. I fitted the AliExpress alloy bash guard and radiator cover plate. Cheap and easy to fit. Oh, and white is the fastest colour 😂😂

Great value for money,did a 260 mile day on it without any issues. Can't wait to do more mild off roading. If they do a 450 I'd buy it tomorrow.

Handles well on and off...

Handles well on and off road, bit of vibration and higher speeds through the seat. Brakes are shocking, however, I’ve replaced with EBC and that’s made a great improvement.

Currently running my bike in...

Currently running my bike in but enjoying it all the same. The bike is a bit buzzy at times and rolls on its 50/50 road / trials bias tyres handling is nice and light and the bike has been comfortable for 2 hour long rides. A good little bike alongside my heavy cruiser.

Engine could be a little...

Engine could be a little more refined and punchy. However, straight from showroom to trail, no suspension upgrades needed unlike a certain Japanese manufacturers 300. I’ve had to adjust the handlebar height via risers. Bars on stock are fine for the road but in the standing position they are too close to the rider and far too low. Apart from that it’s a straight to trail from showroom bike.

Had the bike around 6...

Had the bike around 6 months now, done nearly 3000 miles including a trip down to the Alps to do high mountain passes. The bike has been amazing, done everything asked of it amazingly well. Would be nice to have more power for the highways and motorways, but then it wouldn’t be so light, it’s a trade off. I’ve put more off road biased tyres on, which have helped on trails.

Looks great. Riding position really suits me Running in nicely. Handles very well. Good on fuel. Exceeded my expectations so far. I will change the gearing once it has had its first service as first and top gear are too low for my requirements

It’s a nice bike that’s...

It’s a nice bike that’s easy to ride. The finish is very good and it has a strong engine. It’s quite vibey but that’s expected from a single cylinder engine. I’ve had the chain guide fall off due to loose nuts but I fixed this with nyloc nuts.

Great bike over all for...

Great bike over all for the size of engine. Will top 70mph plus on the lanes and handles very well. Had a couple of teething problems but taken care of very quickly. I would and have recommended the brand to friends, one of which has also bought one.

Lovely to ride around town....

Lovely to ride around town. Great height, posture and visibility. Good handlebar width, easy to manoeuvre. Great off road and very light. On rhe motorway too "buzzy", not enough low end grunt. Slow acceleration. Top speed maxed out at 81mph but a lot of vibration.
